A Gazinet, commune de Gironde, r\u00e9sidait une dame au curieux destin. Elle \u00e9tait dot\u00e9e par le Ciel de dons \u00e9tranges: voyance, gu\u00e9rison. A ces dons s’ajoute une science certaine du reboutage, de la phytoth\u00e9rapie. Profond\u00e9ment mystique, elle passait des heures en pri\u00e8re et faisait accompagner ses actes de messes et de neuvaines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle est n\u00e9e le 15 Juillet 1836 \u00e0 l’Ile d’Ol\u00e9ron, son nom de jeune fille est Anne, Alphonsine, Hortense Renolleau. Elle a \u00e9pous\u00e9 Eug\u00e8ne Mathieu mais les gens de la r\u00e9gion l’ont surnomm\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0Bonne Maman\u00a0\u00bb. Sur sa propri\u00e9t\u00e9, elle a fait b\u00e2tir une \u00e9glise et l’a d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 Saint Louis. Chaque ann\u00e9e, elle organise \u00e0 ses frais un p\u00e8lerinage au sanctuaire marial du Puy en Velay, dans la Haute-Loire. Elle l’offre aux jeunes filles de Cestas-Gazinet. En 1913 elle y remarque Monseigneur Louis-Marie-Fran\u00e7ois Giraud, en visite au sanctuaire. La rencontre entre la vieille dame et le jeune Ev\u00eaque gallican sera d\u00e9terminante et riche de nombreux fruits pour l’avenir. Elle adoptera, au sens propre comme au figur\u00e9 l’\u00e9v\u00eaque de \u00ab\u00a0La Mine\u00a0\u00bb. A partir de 1914 elle met \u00e0 sa disposition l’\u00e9glise Saint Louis. Elle meurt en odeur de saintet\u00e9 le 27 novembre 1923. <\/p>\n\n\n

Dans les ann\u00e9es 50, le patriarche Jalbert-Ville, apr\u00e8s avoir r\u00e9uni de nombreux t\u00e9moignages la porte sur les autels et elle deviendra pour tous les gallicans, Sainte Alphonsine de Gazinet. En 1980, une partie des reliques de Sainte Alphonsine fut d\u00e9pos\u00e9e dans un prieur\u00e9 \u00e0 Lavardac, le reste reposant dans le tombeau situ\u00e9 dans le cimeti\u00e8re de Cestas (33). Vous pouvez v\u00e9n\u00e9rer un reliquaire de notre Sainte et \u00ab\u00a0Bonne Maman\u00a0\u00bb dans chacune des paroisses gallicanes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
