Dans le cadre de l’oecum\u00e9nisme, nous avons particip\u00e9 au lancement de la p\u00e9riode de l’Avent au Temple de Montbrison suite \u00e0 la proposition de la communaut\u00e9 Protestante de St Etienne-Forez \u00e0 les rejoindre pour ce moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les chants de la chorale oecum\u00e9nique ont accompagn\u00e9 ce beau moment de partage autour du verre de l’amiti\u00e9 et de la r\u00e9alisation de belles couronnes de l’Avent pour celles et ceux qui le souhaitaient. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ces couronnes sont surmont\u00e9es de 4 bougies allum\u00e9es chacune leur tour lors des 4 Dimanches de l’Avent pour ponctuer cette attente active du Christ nouveau-n\u00e9 en nos coeurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COURONNES DE L’AVENT :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La p\u00e9riode de l\u2019Avent <\/strong>s\u2019\u00e9tend sur les quatre semaines pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant No\u00ebl. Du latin \u00ab\u00a0adventus\u00a0\u00bb <\/em>qui signifie \u00ab av\u00e8nement \u00bb. L\u2019Avent repr\u00e9sente donc la p\u00e9riode d\u2019attente de l\u2019av\u00e8nement de J\u00e9sus-Christ, que l\u2019on c\u00e9l\u00e8bre le 25 d\u00e9cembre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le temps de l’Avent est ainsi ponctu\u00e9 par quatre dimanches<\/strong>, qui sont autant d\u2019occasions de ritualiser l\u2019attente. De forme ronde et compos\u00e9e de branches de sapin, la couronne de l\u2019Avent est ornement\u00e9e de quatre bougies ainsi, plus No\u00ebl approche, plus la lumi\u00e8re de J\u00e9sus devient intense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La tradition de la couronne de l\u2019Avent<\/strong>, telle qu\u2019on la repr\u00e9sente aujourd’hui, a \u00e9t\u00e9 invent\u00e9e au XIXe si\u00e8cle en Allemagne, par un pasteur de Hambourg. Afin d\u2019accompagner le temps de l\u2019Avent, celui-ci disposait alors vingt-quatre bougies de taille moyenne et quatre autres plus grandes (repr\u00e9sentant les quatre dimanches de l\u2019Avent) qu\u2019il allumait \u00e0 chaque nouvelle journ\u00e9e. N\u00e9anmoins, la confection d\u2019une couronne v\u00e9g\u00e9tale \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode de l\u2019ann\u00e9e o\u00f9 le soleil brille le moins fort a des origines plus anciennes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
