Ce commentaire enrichit encore nos connaissances sur les pratiques religieuses anciennes et nous en transmet la richesse.<\/p>\n<p>Merci Mr Labour\u00e9 pour ce t\u00e9moignage dont voici le contenu:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">\u00ab\u00a0Pour compl\u00e9ter Mgr Durand de Mende et votre recherche, je m\u2019autorise une petite pr\u00e9cision. Dans la symbolique juive antique, les sept branches du chandelier repr\u00e9sentent les sept \u00ab luminaires \u00bb, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire les sept plan\u00e8tes visibles \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153il nu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Ce symbolisme a \u00e9t\u00e9 conserv\u00e9 par le christianisme des premiers si\u00e8cles. Comme en t\u00e9moigne cet extrait des Stromates de Cl\u00e9ment d\u2019Alexandrie (Stromate V, chap. 6, parties 8 et 9), \u00e9d. Sources Chr\u00e9tiennes.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\u00ab D\u2019autre part, le chandelier \u00e9tait plac\u00e9 au sud de l\u2019autel des parfums : il montre les mouvements des sept luminaires qui accomplissent leur r\u00e9volution dans le sud.
