Car Dieu a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 sa gr\u00e2ce, source de salut pour tous les humains.\u00a0Elle nous enseigne \u00e0 renoncer \u00e0 une mauvaise conduite et aux d\u00e9sirs terrestres, pour mener dans ce monde une vie raisonnable, juste et fid\u00e8le \u00e0 Dieu.\u00a0C\u2019est ainsi que nous devons attendre le bonheur que nous esp\u00e9rons et le jour o\u00f9 appara\u00eetra la gloire de notre grand Dieu et Sauveur J\u00e9sus-Christ.\u00a0Il s\u2019est donn\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame pour nous, pour nous d\u00e9livrer de tout mal et faire de nous un peuple purifi\u00e9 qui lui appartienne en propre et qui soit z\u00e9l\u00e9 pour faire des actions bonnes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Voil\u00e0 ce que tu dois enseigner, en usant de toute ton autorit\u00e9 pour encourager tes auditeurs et exhorter les fid\u00e8les, dans le Christ J\u00e9sus, notre Seigneur.<\/span><\/p>\n

En ce temps-l\u00e0, l\u2019empereur Auguste\u00a0donna l\u2019ordre de recenser tous les habitants de l\u2019empire romain.\u00a0Ce recensement, le premier, eut lieu alors que Quirinius \u00e9tait gouverneur de la province de Syrie.\u00a0Tout le monde allait se faire enregistrer, chacun dans sa ville d\u2019origine.\u00a0Joseph lui aussi partit de Nazareth, un bourg de Galil\u00e9e, pour se rendre en Jud\u00e9e, \u00e0 Bethl\u00e9em, o\u00f9 est n\u00e9 le roi David\u00a0; en effet, il \u00e9tait lui-m\u00eame un descendant de David.\u00a0Il alla s\u2019y faire enregistrer avec Marie, sa fianc\u00e9e, qui \u00e9tait enceinte.\u00a0Pendant qu\u2019ils \u00e9taient \u00e0 Bethl\u00e9em, le jour de la naissance arriva.\u00a0Elle mit au monde un fils, son premier-n\u00e9. Dans cette m\u00eame r\u00e9gion, il y avait des bergers qui passaient la nuit dans les champs pour garder leur troupeau.\u00a0Un ange du Seigneur leur apparut et la gloire du Seigneur les entoura de lumi\u00e8re. Ils eurent alors tr\u00e8s peur.\u00a0Mais l\u2019ange leur dit\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0N\u2019ayez pas peur, car je vous apporte une bonne nouvelle qui r\u00e9jouira beaucoup tout le peuple\u00a0:\u00a0cette nuit, dans la ville de David, est n\u00e9, pour vous, un Sauveur\u00a0; c\u2019est le Christ, le Seigneur.\u00a0Et voici le signe qui vous le fera reconna\u00eetre\u00a0: vous trouverez un petit enfant envelopp\u00e9 de langes et couch\u00e9 dans une cr\u00e8che.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Tout \u00e0 coup, il y eut avec l\u2019ange une troupe nombreuse d\u2019anges du ciel, qui louaient Dieu en disant\u00a0:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Gloire \u00e0 Dieu dans les cieux tr\u00e8s hauts,<\/span>
\n et paix sur la terre pour ceux qu\u2019il aime!\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n
