Enfin, ayez tous les m\u00eames dispositions et les m\u00eames sentiments\u00a0; aimez-vous comme des fr\u00e8res, soyez bienveillants et humbles les uns \u00e0 l’\u00e9gard des autres. Ne rendez pas le mal pour le mal, ou l’insulte pour l’insulte. Au contraire, r\u00e9pondez par une b\u00e9n\u00e9diction, car c’est une b\u00e9n\u00e9diction que Dieu a promis de vous accorder quand il vous a appel\u00e9s. En effet, voici ce qui est \u00e9crit\u00a0:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Celui qui veut jouir d’une vie agr\u00e9able et conna\u00eetre des jours heureux<\/span>
\n doit se garder de m\u00e9dire et de mentir. Il doit se d\u00e9tourner du mal, pratiquer le bien<\/span>
\n et rechercher la paix avec pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance. Car le Seigneur a les yeux fix\u00e9s sur les fid\u00e8les, pr\u00eat \u00e0 \u00e9couter leurs pri\u00e8res\u00a0; mais le Seigneur s’oppose \u00e0 ceux qui font le mal .\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Qui vous fera du mal si vous \u00eates z\u00e9l\u00e9s pour pratiquer le bien\u00a0? M\u00eame si vous avez \u00e0 souffrir parce que vous faites ce qui est juste, vous \u00eates heureux. N’ayez aucune crainte des autres et ne vous laissez pas troubler. Mais honorez dans vos coeurs le Christ, comme votre Seigneur. Soyez toujours pr\u00eats \u00e0 vous d\u00e9fendre face \u00e0 tous ceux qui vous demandent de justifier l’esp\u00e9rance qui est en vous.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Vous avez entendu qu’il a \u00e9t\u00e9 dit \u00e0 nos anc\u00eatres\u00a0: \u00abTu ne commettras pas de meurtre; tout homme qui en tue un autre m\u00e9rite de compara\u00eetre devant le juge.\u00bb Eh bien, moi je vous d\u00e9clare\u00a0: tout homme qui se met en col\u00e8re contre son fr\u00e8re m\u00e9rite de compara\u00eetre devant le juge\u00a0; celui qui dit \u00e0 son fr\u00e8re\u00a0: \u00abImb\u00e9cile\u00a0!\u00bb m\u00e9rite d’\u00eatre jug\u00e9 par le Conseil sup\u00e9rieur\u00a0; celui qui lui dit\u00a0: \u00abIdiot\u00a0!\u00bb m\u00e9rite d’\u00eatre jet\u00e9 dans le feu de l’enfer.\u00a0 Si donc tu viens \u00e0 l’autel pr\u00e9senter ton offrande \u00e0 Dieu et que l\u00e0 tu te souviennes que ton fr\u00e8re a une raison de t’en vouloir, laisse l\u00e0 ton offrande, devant l’autel, et va d’abord faire la paix avec ton fr\u00e8re\u00a0; puis reviens et pr\u00e9sente ton offrande \u00e0 Dieu.<\/span><\/p>\n
