Je suis certain de ceci\u00a0: Dieu, qui a commenc\u00e9 cette oeuvre bonne parmi vous, la continuera jusqu’\u00e0 son ach\u00e8vement au jour de la venue de J\u00e9sus-Christ. <\/sup>Il est bien juste que j’aie de tels sentiments envers vous tous. Je vous porte en effet dans mon coeur, car vous avez tous part \u00e0 la faveur que Dieu m’a accord\u00e9e, aussi bien maintenant que je suis en prison que lorsque je suis appel\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre fermement la Bonne Nouvelle. Dieu m’en est t\u00e9moin\u00a0: je vous aime tous avec la profonde affection de J\u00e9sus-Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

Voici ce que je demande \u00e0 Dieu dans ma pri\u00e8re\u00a0: que votre amour grandisse de plus en plus, qu’il soit enrichi de vraie connaissance et de compr\u00e9hension parfaite, pour que vous soyez capables de discerner ce qui est bien. Ainsi, vous serez purs et irr\u00e9prochables au jour de la venue du Christ. Vous serez riches des actions justes produites en vous par J\u00e9sus-Christ, \u00e0 la gloire et \u00e0 la louange de Dieu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Evangile : St Matthieu 22,15-21<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Les Pharisiens all\u00e8rent alors tenir conseil pour d\u00e9cider comment ils pourraient prendre J\u00e9sus au pi\u00e8ge par une question. Dis-nous donc ce que tu penses de ceci\u00a0: notre loi permet-elle ou non de payer des imp\u00f4ts \u00e0 l’empereur romain\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0 Mais J\u00e9sus connaissait leurs mauvaises intentions\u00a0; il leur dit alors\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Hypocrites, pourquoi me tendez-vous un pi\u00e8ge\u00a0?\u00a0 Montrez-moi l’argent qui sert \u00e0 payer l’imp\u00f4t.\u00a0\u00bb Ils lui pr\u00e9sent\u00e8rent une pi\u00e8ce d’argent, et J\u00e9sus leur demanda\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Ce visage et ce nom grav\u00e9s ici, de qui sont-ils\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb. \u00ab\u00a0De l’empereur\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9pondirent-ils. Alors J\u00e9sus leur dit\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Payez donc \u00e0 l’empereur ce qui lui appartient, et \u00e0 Dieu ce qui lui appartient.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n
