Par cons\u00e9quent, je vous le demande, ne vous laissez pas d\u00e9courager par les souffrances que j\u2019\u00e9prouve pour vous\u00a0: elles vous assurent un avantage glorieux.\u00a0C\u2019est pourquoi je me mets \u00e0 genoux devant Dieu, le P\u00e8re,\u00a0dont d\u00e9pend toute famille dans les cieux et sur la terre.\u00a0\u00a0Je lui demande que, selon la richesse de sa gloire, il fortifie votre \u00eatre int\u00e9rieur par la puissance de son Esprit,\u00a0et que le Christ habite dans vos coeurs par la foi. Je demande que vous soyez enracin\u00e9s et solidement \u00e9tablis dans l\u2019amour,\u00a0pour \u00eatre capables de comprendre, avec l\u2019ensemble du peuple de Dieu, combien l\u2019amour du Christ est large et long, haut et profond.\u00a0Oui, puissiez-vous conna\u00eetre son amour, bien qu\u2019il surpasse toute connaissance, et \u00eatre ainsi remplis de toute la richesse de Dieu.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Dieu qui a le pouvoir de faire infiniment plus que tout ce que nous demandons ou m\u00eame imaginons, par la puissance qui agit en nous;\u00a0\u00e0 lui soit la gloire dans l\u2019\u00c9glise et par J\u00e9sus-Christ, dans tous les temps et pour toujours\u00a0! Amen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Evangile : St Luc 14, 1-11<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Un jour de sabbat, J\u00e9sus se rendit chez un des chefs des Pharisiens pour y prendre un repas. Ceux qui \u00e9taient l\u00e0 observaient attentivement J\u00e9sus.\u00a0Un homme atteint d\u2019hydropisie se tenait devant lui.\u00a0J\u00e9sus prit la parole et demanda aux ma\u00eetres de la loi et aux Pharisiens\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Notre loi permet-elle ou non de faire une gu\u00e9rison le jour du sabbat\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0Mais ils ne voulurent pas r\u00e9pondre. Alors J\u00e9sus toucha le malade, le gu\u00e9rit et le renvoya.\u00a0Puis il leur dit\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Si l\u2019un de vous a un fils ou un boeuf qui tombe dans un puits, ne va-t-il pas l\u2019en retirer aussit\u00f4t, m\u00eame le jour du sabbat\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0Ils furent incapables de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cela.<\/span><\/p>\n

J\u00e9sus remarqua comment les invit\u00e9s choisissaient les meilleures places. Il dit alors \u00e0 tous cette parabole\u00a0:\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Lorsque quelqu\u2019un t\u2019invite \u00e0 un repas de mariage, ne va pas t\u2019asseoir \u00e0 la meilleure place. Il se pourrait en effet que quelqu\u2019un de plus important que toi ait \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9\u00a0et que celui qui vous a invit\u00e9s l\u2019un et l\u2019autre vienne te dire\u00a0: \u00abLaisse-lui cette place.\u00bb Alors tu devrais, tout honteux, te mettre \u00e0 la derni\u00e8re place.\u00a0Au contraire, lorsque tu es invit\u00e9, va t\u2019installer \u00e0 la derni\u00e8re place, pour qu\u2019au moment o\u00f9 viendra celui qui t\u2019a invit\u00e9, il te dise\u00a0: \u00abMon ami, viens t\u2019asseoir \u00e0 une meilleure place\u00a0.\u00bb Ainsi, ce sera pour toi un honneur devant tous ceux qui seront \u00e0 table avec toi.\u00a0En effet, quiconque s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve sera abaiss\u00e9, et celui qui s\u2019abaisse sera \u00e9lev\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
