Venez au repas de mariage\u00a0!\u00bb.\u00a0Mais les invit\u00e9s ne s\u2019en souci\u00e8rent pas et s\u2019en all\u00e8rent \u00e0 leurs affaires\u00a0: l\u2019un \u00e0 son champ, l\u2019autre \u00e0 son commerce\u00a0;\u00a0les autres saisirent les serviteurs, les maltrait\u00e8rent et les tu\u00e8rent.\u00a0Le roi se mit en col\u00e8re\u00a0: il envoya ses soldats tuer ces assassins et incendier leur ville.\u00a0Puis il dit \u00e0 ses serviteurs\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Le repas de mariage est pr\u00eat, mais les invit\u00e9s ne le m\u00e9ritaient pas.\u00a0Allez donc dans les principales rues et invitez au repas tous ceux que vous pourrez trouver\u00a0\u00bb.\u00a0Les serviteurs s\u2019en all\u00e8rent dans les rues et rassembl\u00e8rent tous ceux qu\u2019ils trouv\u00e8rent, les mauvais comme les bons\u00a0; et ainsi, la salle de f\u00eate se remplit de monde.\u00a0Le roi entra alors pour voir les invit\u00e9s et il aper\u00e7ut un homme qui n&rsquo;avait pas rev\u00eatu de robe nuptiale .\u00a0\u00a0Il lui demanda\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Mon ami, comment es-tu entr\u00e9 ici sans robe nuptiale ?\u00a0\u00bb Mais l\u2019homme ne r\u00e9pondit rien.\u00a0Alors le roi dit aux serviteurs\u00a0: \u00abLiez-lui les pieds et les mains et jetez-le dehors, dans le noir.
