Debout, J\u00e9rusalem,\u00a0brille de mille feux,\u00a0car la lumi\u00e8re se l\u00e8ve pour toi\u00a0:<\/span>
\n la glorieuse pr\u00e9sence du Seigneur\u00a0t\u2019\u00e9claire comme le soleil levant.\u00a0L\u2019obscurit\u00e9 couvre la terre,\u00a0la nuit enveloppe les peuples.\u00a0Mais toi, le Seigneur t\u2019\u00e9claire\u00a0comme le soleil qui se l\u00e8ve.\u00a0Au-dessus de toi appara\u00eet\u00a0sa pr\u00e9sence lumineuse.\u00a0Alors des nations marcheront\u00a0vers la lumi\u00e8re dont tu rayonnes,\u00a0des rois seront attir\u00e9s\u00a0par l\u2019\u00e9clat dont tu te mettras \u00e0 briller.\u00a0Regarde bien autour de toi,\u00a0et vois tous tes enfants\u00a0: ils viennent\u00a0et se rassemblent aupr\u00e8s de toi.\u00a0Tes fils arrivent de loin,\u00a0on ram\u00e8ne tes filles\u00a0en les portant dans les bras.\u00a0En les apercevant,\u00a0tu rayonnes de bonheur\u00a0;\u00a0tu en es tout \u00e9mue,\u00a0ton coeur \u00e9clate de joie.\u00a0Car les richesses de la mer arrivent chez toi,\u00a0les tr\u00e9sors des nations affluent jusqu\u2019\u00e0 toi.\u00a0Ton pays se couvre\u00a0d\u2019une foule de chameaux\u00a0:\u00a0ce sont les caravanes\u00a0de Madian et d\u2019\u00c9fa,\u00a0arrivant toutes de Saba.\u00a0Elles apportent de l\u2019or et de l\u2019encens\u00a0en chantant les hauts faits du Seigneur.<\/span><\/p>\n

Evangile : St Matthieu 2,1-12<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

J\u00e9sus naquit \u00e0 Bethl\u00e9em, en Jud\u00e9e, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque o\u00f9 H\u00e9rode \u00e9tait roi. Apr\u00e8s sa naissance, des savants, sp\u00e9cialistes des \u00e9toiles, vinrent d\u2019Orient. Ils arriv\u00e8rent \u00e0 J\u00e9rusalem\u00a0et demand\u00e8rent\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0O\u00f9 est l\u2019enfant qui vient de na\u00eetre, le roi des Juifs\u00a0? Nous avons vu son \u00e9toile appara\u00eetre en Orient et nous sommes venus l\u2019adorer.\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0Quand le roi H\u00e9rode apprit cette nouvelle, il fut troubl\u00e9, ainsi que toute la population de J\u00e9rusalem.\u00a0\u00a0Il convoqua tous les chefs des pr\u00eatres et les ma\u00eetres de la loi, et leur demanda o\u00f9 le Messie devait na\u00eetre.\u00a0Ils lui r\u00e9pondirent\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0A Bethl\u00e9em, en Jud\u00e9e. Car voici ce que le proph\u00e8te a \u00e9crit\u00a0:\u00a0\u00a0\u00abEt toi, Bethl\u00e9em, au pays de Juda,\u00a0tu n\u2019es certainement pas la moins importante des localit\u00e9s de Juda\u00a0;\u00a0car c\u2019est de toi que viendra un chef\u00a0qui conduira mon peuple, Isra\u00ebl\u00a0e<\/sup>\u00a0.\u00bb\u00a0Alors H\u00e9rode convoqua secr\u00e8tement les savants et s\u2019informa aupr\u00e8s d\u2019eux du moment pr\u00e9cis o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9toile \u00e9tait apparue.\u00a0Puis il les envoya \u00e0 Bethl\u00e9em, en leur disant\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Allez chercher des renseignements pr\u00e9cis sur l\u2019enfant\u00a0; et quand vous l\u2019aurez trouv\u00e9, faites-le-moi savoir, afin que j\u2019aille, moi aussi, l\u2019adorer.\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0Apr\u00e8s avoir re\u00e7u ces instructions du roi, ils partirent. Ils virent alors l\u2019\u00e9toile qu\u2019ils avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 remarqu\u00e9e en Orient\u00a0: elle allait devant eux, et quand elle arriva au-dessus de l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 se trouvait l\u2019enfant, elle s\u2019arr\u00eata.\u00a0Ils furent remplis d\u2019une tr\u00e8s grande joie en la voyant l\u00e0.\u00a0Ils entr\u00e8rent dans la maison et virent l\u2019enfant avec sa m\u00e8re, Marie. Ils se mirent \u00e0 genoux pour adorer l\u2019enfant\u00a0; puis ils ouvrirent leurs bagages et lui offrirent des cadeaux\u00a0: de l\u2019or, de l\u2019encens et de la myrrhe.\u00a0Ensuite, Dieu les avertit dans un r\u00eave de ne pas retourner aupr\u00e8s d\u2019H\u00e9rode\u00a0; ils prirent alors un autre chemin pour rentrer dans leur pays.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
