Ep\u00eetre de St Paul aux Romains 8,18-23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

J\u2019estime que nos souffrances du temps \npr\u00e9sent ne sont pas comparables \u00e0 la gloire que Dieu nous r\u00e9v\u00e9lera. La \ncr\u00e9ation enti\u00e8re attend avec impatience le moment o\u00f9 Dieu r\u00e9v\u00e9lera ses \nenfants. Car la cr\u00e9ation est tomb\u00e9e sous le pouvoir de forces qui ne \nm\u00e8nent \u00e0 rien, non parce qu\u2019elle l\u2019a voulu elle-m\u00eame, mais parce que \nDieu l\u2019y a mise. Il y a toutefois une esp\u00e9rance : c\u2019est que la cr\u00e9ation \nelle-m\u00eame sera lib\u00e9r\u00e9e un jour du pouvoir destructeur qui la tient en \nesclavage et qu\u2019elle aura part \u00e0 la glorieuse libert\u00e9 des enfants de \nDieu. Nous savons, en effet, que maintenant encore la cr\u00e9ation enti\u00e8re \ng\u00e9mit et souffre comme une femme qui accouche. Mais pas seulement la \ncr\u00e9ation : nous qui avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 l\u2019Esprit Saint comme premi\u00e8re part des \ndons de Dieu, nous g\u00e9missons aussi int\u00e9rieurement en attendant que Dieu \nfasse de nous ses enfants et nous accorde une d\u00e9livrance totale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un jour, J\u00e9sus se tenait au bord du lac\n de G\u00e9n\u00e9sareth et la foule se pressait autour de lui pour \u00e9couter la \nparole de Dieu. Il vit deux barques pr\u00e8s de la rive : les p\u00eacheurs en \n\u00e9taient descendus et lavaient leurs filets. J\u00e9sus monta dans l\u2019une des \nbarques, qui appartenait \u00e0 Simon, et pria celui-ci de s\u2019\u00e9loigner un peu \ndu bord. J\u00e9sus s\u2019assit dans la barque et se mit \u00e0 donner son \nenseignement \u00e0 la foule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quand il eut fini de parler, il dit \u00e0 \nSimon : \u00ab Avance plus loin, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 l\u2019eau est profonde, puis, toi et tes \ncompagnons, jetez vos filets pour p\u00eacher. \u00bb Simon lui r\u00e9pondit : \n\u00ab Ma\u00eetre, nous avons pein\u00e9 toute la nuit sans rien prendre. Mais puisque\n tu me dis de le faire, je jetterai les filets. \u00bb Ils les jet\u00e8rent donc \net prirent une si grande quantit\u00e9 de poissons que leurs filets \ncommen\u00e7aient \u00e0 se d\u00e9chirer. <\/sup>Ils firent alors signe \u00e0 leurs \ncompagnons qui \u00e9taient dans l\u2019autre barque de venir les aider. Ceux-ci \nvinrent et, ensemble, ils remplirent les deux barques de tant de \npoissons qu\u2019elles enfon\u00e7aient dans l\u2019eau. Quand Simon Pierre vit cela, \nil se mit \u00e0 genoux devant J\u00e9sus et dit : \u00ab \u00c9loigne-toi de moi, Seigneur,\n car je suis un homme p\u00e9cheur ! \u00bb Simon, comme tous ceux qui \u00e9taient \navec lui, \u00e9tait en effet saisi de crainte, \u00e0 cause de la grande quantit\u00e9\n de poissons qu\u2019ils avaient pris. Il en \u00e9tait de m\u00eame des compagnons de \nSimon, Jacques et Jean, les fils de Z\u00e9b\u00e9d\u00e9e. Mais J\u00e9sus dit \u00e0 Simon : \n\u00ab N\u2019aie pas peur ; d\u00e9sormais, ce sont des hommes que tu prendras. \u00bb Ils \nramen\u00e8rent alors leurs barques \u00e0 terre et laiss\u00e8rent tout pour suivre \nJ\u00e9sus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
