Ep\u00eetre : lecture Proph\u00e8te Esa\u00efe 60,1-6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Debout, J\u00e9rusalem, brille de mille feux, car la lumi\u00e8re se l\u00e8ve pour toi :
la glorieuse pr\u00e9sence du Seigneur t\u2019\u00e9claire comme le soleil levant. L\u2019obscurit\u00e9 couvre la terre, la nuit enveloppe les peuples. Mais toi, le Seigneur t\u2019\u00e9claire comme le soleil qui se l\u00e8ve. Au-dessus de toi appara\u00eet sa pr\u00e9sence lumineuse. Alors des nations marcheront vers la lumi\u00e8re dont tu rayonnes, des rois seront attir\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00e9clat dont tu te mettras \u00e0 briller. Regarde bien autour de toi, et vois tous tes enfants : ils viennent et se rassemblent aupr\u00e8s de toi. Tes fils arrivent de loin, on ram\u00e8ne tes filles en les portant dans les bras. En les apercevant, tu rayonnes de bonheur ; tu en es tout \u00e9mue, ton coeur \u00e9clate de joie. Car les richesses de la mer arrivent chez toi, les tr\u00e9sors des nations affluent jusqu\u2019\u00e0 toi. Ton pays se couvre d\u2019une foule de chameaux : ce sont les caravanes de Madian et d\u2019\u00c9fa, arrivant toutes de Saba. Elles apportent de l\u2019or et de l\u2019encens en chantant les hauts faits du Seigneur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evangile : St Matthieu 2,1-12<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

J\u00e9sus naquit \u00e0 Bethl\u00e9em, en Jud\u00e9e, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque o\u00f9 H\u00e9rode \u00e9tait roi. Apr\u00e8s sa naissance, des savants, sp\u00e9cialistes des \u00e9toiles, vinrent d\u2019Orient. Ils arriv\u00e8rent \u00e0 J\u00e9rusalem et demand\u00e8rent : \u00ab O\u00f9 est l\u2019enfant qui vient de na\u00eetre, le roi des Juifs ? Nous avons vu son \u00e9toile appara\u00eetre en Orient et nous sommes venus l\u2019adorer. \u00bb Quand le roi H\u00e9rode apprit cette nouvelle, il fut troubl\u00e9, ainsi que toute la population de J\u00e9rusalem.  Il convoqua tous les chefs des pr\u00eatres et les ma\u00eetres de la loi, et leur demanda o\u00f9 le Messie devait na\u00eetre. Ils lui r\u00e9pondirent : \u00ab A Bethl\u00e9em, en Jud\u00e9e. Car voici ce que le proph\u00e8te a \u00e9crit :  \u00abEt toi, Bethl\u00e9em, au pays de Juda, tu n\u2019es certainement pas la moins importante des localit\u00e9s de Juda ; car c\u2019est de toi que viendra un chef qui conduira mon peuple, Isra\u00ebl e<\/sup> .\u00bb Alors H\u00e9rode convoqua secr\u00e8tement les savants et s\u2019informa aupr\u00e8s d\u2019eux du moment pr\u00e9cis o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9toile \u00e9tait apparue. Puis il les envoya \u00e0 Bethl\u00e9em, en leur disant : \u00ab Allez chercher des renseignements pr\u00e9cis sur l\u2019enfant ; et quand vous l\u2019aurez trouv\u00e9, faites-le-moi savoir, afin que j\u2019aille, moi aussi, l\u2019adorer. \u00bb Apr\u00e8s avoir re\u00e7u ces instructions du roi, ils partirent. Ils virent alors l\u2019\u00e9toile qu\u2019ils avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 remarqu\u00e9e en Orient : elle allait devant eux, et quand elle arriva au-dessus de l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 se trouvait l\u2019enfant, elle s\u2019arr\u00eata. Ils furent remplis d\u2019une tr\u00e8s grande joie en la voyant l\u00e0. Ils entr\u00e8rent dans la maison et virent l\u2019enfant avec sa m\u00e8re, Marie. Ils se mirent \u00e0 genoux pour adorer l\u2019enfant ; puis ils ouvrirent leurs bagages et lui offrirent des cadeaux : de l\u2019or, de l\u2019encens et de la myrrhe. Ensuite, Dieu les avertit dans un r\u00eave de ne pas retourner aupr\u00e8s d\u2019H\u00e9rode ; ils prirent alors un autre chemin pour rentrer dans leur pays.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
