Livia a fait sa premi\u00e8re communion aujourd’hui \u00e0 la chapelle en ce jour de Pentec\u00f4te. Elle \u00e9tait entour\u00e9e de sa famille pour ce grand moment qu’elle a v\u00e9cu avec beaucoup d’\u00e9motion et de recueillement. Apr\u00e8s avoir suivi le cat\u00e9chisme de notre Eglise Gallicane sur deux ans, elle \u00e9tait pr\u00eate maintenant \u00e0 participer \u00e0 la Sainte Eucharistie et \u00e0 rejoindre pleinement l’assembl\u00e9e des chr\u00e9tiens dans ce qui les unit intimement au Christ au coeur de chaque c\u00e9l\u00e9bration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quand le jour de la Pentec\u00f4te arriva, les croyants \u00e9taient r\u00e9unis tous ensemble au m\u00eame endroit. Tout \u00e0 coup, un bruit vint du ciel, comme si un vent violent se mettait \u00e0 souffler, et il remplit toute la maison o\u00f9 ils \u00e9taient assis.  Ils virent alors appara\u00eetre des langues pareilles \u00e0 des flammes de feu ; elles se s\u00e9par\u00e8rent et elles se pos\u00e8rent une \u00e0 une sur chacun d\u2019eux.  Ils furent tous remplis du Saint-Esprit et se mirent \u00e0 parler en d\u2019autres langues, selon ce que l\u2019Esprit leur donnait d\u2019exprimer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A J\u00e9rusalem vivaient des Juifs pieux, venus de tous les pays du monde. Quand ce bruit se fit entendre, ils s\u2019assembl\u00e8rent en foule. Ils \u00e9taient tous profond\u00e9ment surpris, car chacun d\u2019eux entendait les croyants parler dans sa propre langue. Ils \u00e9taient remplis d\u2019\u00e9tonnement et d\u2019admiration, et disaient : \u00ab Ces gens qui parlent, ne sont-ils pas tous Galil\u00e9ens? 8 Comment se fait-il alors que chacun de nous les entende parler dans sa langue maternelle ? Parmi nous, il y en a qui viennent du pays des Parthes, de M\u00e9die et d\u2019\u00c9lam. Il y a des habitants de M\u00e9sopotamie, de Jud\u00e9e et de Cappadoce, du Pont et de la province d\u2019Asie, de Phrygie et de Pamphylie, d\u2019\u00c9gypte et de la r\u00e9gion de Cyr\u00e8ne, en Libye ; il y en a qui sont venus de Rome, de Cr\u00e8te et d\u2019Arabie ; certains sont n\u00e9s Juifs, et d\u2019autres se sont convertis \u00e0 la religion juive. Et pourtant nous les entendons parler dans nos diverses langues des grandes oeuvres de Dieu ! \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J\u00e9sus lui r\u00e9pondit : \u00ab Celui qui m\u2019aime ob\u00e9ira \u00e0 ce que je dis. Mon P\u00e8re l\u2019aimera ; nous viendrons \u00e0 lui, mon P\u00e8re et moi, et nous habiterons chez lui. Celui qui ne m\u2019aime pas n\u2019ob\u00e9it pas \u00e0 mes paroles. Ce que vous m\u2019entendez dire ne vient pas de moi, mais de mon P\u00e8re qui m\u2019a envoy\u00e9. Je vous ai dit cela pendant que je suis encore avec vous. Celui qui doit vous venir en aide, le Saint-Esprit que le P\u00e8re enverra en mon nom, vous enseignera tout et vous rappellera tout ce que je vous ai dit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab C\u2019est la paix que je vous laisse, c\u2019est ma paix que je vous donne. Je ne vous la donne pas \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re du monde. Ne soyez pas inquiets, ne soyez pas effray\u00e9s. Vous m\u2019avez entendu dire : \u00abJe m\u2019en vais, mais je reviendrai aupr\u00e8s de vous\u00bb. Si vous m\u2019aimiez, vous vous r\u00e9jouiriez de savoir que je vais aupr\u00e8s du P\u00e8re, parce que le P\u00e8re est plus grand que moi. Je vous l\u2019ai dit maintenant, avant que ces choses arrivent, afin que lorsqu\u2019elles arriveront vous croyiez. Je ne parlerai plus beaucoup avec vous, car le dominateur de ce monde vient.
